All members of the Shelby County Federal Credit Union are invited to the Annual Member Meeting at which time an election will be held to fill fthree vacancies on the Board of Directors for the Shelby County Federal Credit Union. Your membership gives you the privilege of taking part in the annual election of the Board of Directors.

ELECTION OF BOARD MEMBERS
At the annual meeting, an election will take place to fill four vacant positions on the Board of Directors for the Shelby County Federal Credit Union. The Nominating Committee has selected the following four candidates for these positions:
RAY SIDES Mr. Sides has been employed with the Shelby County Sheriff ’s Department since 1989 and has been a member of the Credit Union since 1990. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2010 utilizing his vast experience in law enforcement as Security Officer for the Credit Union. DAVID PONTIUS Mr. Pontius has been employed with the Shelby County Retirement System since 1995 as Manager of Pension Investments and has also been a member of the Credit Union since 1995. Mr. Pontius has a strong financial background as an Investment Banker, Money Market Manager and Financial Analyst. He has served 3 terms on the Board and currently serves as Treasurer of the Board and is on the Investment / Asset Liability committee. LISA WIMBERLY Mrs. Wimberly has been a member of the Credit Union since 1978 and is retired from Shelby County General Sessions Court. Mrs. Wimberly served as Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for several years before being elected to the Board in 2010. Mrs. Wimberly is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors. MARY JANE BEVILL Ms. Bevill has been a member of the Credit Union since 1991 and recently retired as Director of Finance for the Town of Collierville. She is a CPA and while at Collierville was responsible for the Financial Management of the Town of Collierville as well as debt management, budgeting, revenue collection and reporting. She served on the Supervisory Committee for a while before being appointed to the Board of Directors to fill a vacancy created by a resignation. The nominees are agreeable to being nominated and will accept office if elected. Nominations for vacancies on the Board of Directors may also be made by a petition signed by 1% of the members. If a member wishes to be nominated for a Board position, a petition nominating that person should be signed by at least 108 members which will satisfy the 1% requirement. The closing date by which the petition must be returned to the Secretary of the Credit Union is no later than February 29, 2016. Any person nominated by petition must also submit with that petition a statement of qualifications and biographical data in a similar format as the statements submitted by the nomina-tion committee nominees along with a signed certificate stating that the nominee by petition is agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected. The election at the annual meeting will not be conducted by ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor when the number of nominees equals the number of positions filled.
